Today, Thursday, Ambassador Hossam El Din Reda, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Djibouti, handed over to the Assistant Minister of Health of Djibouti the first shipments of aid, amounting to regarding 20 tons of medicines and medical supplies, provided by the people of Egypt to the brotherly people of Djibouti, within the framework of the distinguished relations that unite the two countries. the two countries.
The Egyptian ambassador stated – according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs – that this shipment comes in implementation of what was announced during the recent visit of the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population delegation to Djibouti with the aim of strengthening means of cooperation in the medical fields, stressing that Egypt is always ready to cooperate with Djibouti in all fields. Especially the healthcare field.
For his part, the Assistant Minister of Health of Djibouti appreciated the Egyptian donation, stressing that Egypt has always represented a support that can be relied upon, and that what it provides to Djibouti in the medical sector and other sectors is appreciated and welcomed at all Djiboutian political and popular levels. He added that the aid shipment will be distributed to all Djiboutian regions, starting tomorrow.
