Al-Marsad newspaper: The Criminal Court in Egypt decided to sentence 5 accused “friends” to death by hanging, following receiving the opinion of the Grand Mufti of their execution, and sentenced another accused to life imprisonment.

The verdict came following 6 defendants lurked in front of a bank for a person, who was withdrawing a large sum of money, putting it in a bag, getting into his car, and going to his destination accompanied by one of his friends, according to the Egyptian newspaper Al-Watan.

The defendants decided to take a car that they use to facilitate their movements and followed the victim’s car, waiting for the right moment to pounce on them.

Stop the victim’s car

The defendants stopped the victim’s car, asking them to get off and leave the car and the bag containing the money that the victim had withdrawn, but they refused.

A barrage of bullets fired

The defendants had no other choice but to fire a barrage of bullets at the first victim, who died of his injury and snatched the bag from his hands, and fired a number of bullets at the other so as not to reveal their identity, and following they left the scene of the crime, the second victim was able to phone the security services before to faint.

The victim was covered in blood

The security services attended immediately to find the victim drenched in his blood, and he was taken to the hospital in a serious condition, but was corrected for treatment, and his friend died of his injuries. And they were arrested.

After the second victim recovered, the Public Prosecution interrogated him, and learned from him the details of the incident that the same defendants gave in the police report, accusing them of killing his friend and attempting to kill him.
