Al-Marsad newspaper: An Egyptian court decided to refer the papers of 9 people from one family, including two women, to the Mufti of the Republic to consider the death sentence, following they were convicted of killing a person and mutilating his body in southern Egypt.
The nine killed the victim with knives, mutilated his body, and injured another, once morest the background of a quarrel that erupted due to differences over lineage.
Through security investigations, it became clear that the cause of the accident was a quarrel between two families in Minya Governorate. The perpetrators stalked the victim’s family, carrying white weapons and sticks, in a street near their house.
Not only did the criminals kill the victim, they mutilated his body and ran over it with their car.
The Egyptian security forces arrested the accused, a man, his wife, their three sons, his brother, his wife and their two sons, and they were referred to the Criminal Court, which issued its advanced verdict.
