Eto’o had expected the Moroccan national team to lead its strong group, which included Croatia and Belgium, the second and third editions of the last World Cup in Russia 2018, in addition to the Canadian national team, which actually happened following it scored seven points with two wins over Belgium and Canada and a draw with Croatia.

Rather, Eto’o also predicted that Morocco would meet France in the semi-finals, which will happen on Wednesday.

International sites, including One Football, considered that Eto’o might be the only one who expected the semi-finals to witness a confrontation between Morocco and France.

According to Eto’o’s predictions before the start of the tournament, the Atlas Lions will beat the Roosters.

What Eto’o failed to do was expect his country to reach the World Cup final, as Cameroon exited the group stage following finishing third in its group, which included Brazil, Switzerland and Serbia.
