The eFootball 2022 game announces its season 2 very soon… unfortunately it will require a lot of maintenance.

A four-day maintenance!
Season 2 will be accompanied by a new patch, bearing eFootball 2022 to version 1.1.0. on consoles and PC. This patch will notably offer improvements for online gamesfrom server capacity improvements, and preparation for sharing data between consoles and mobiles. So we can hope for cross-play very soon.
However, installing this patch will require patience from players. Indeed, Konami announces that to set it up, the game will have to be in maintenance. And unlike other games where maintenance lasts a few hours at most, eFootball 2022 is planning a four-day maintenance! Indeed, Konami announces that May 30 to June 2, quick matches will be available with only certain clubs. Quick Matches will feature two new options, a new “beginner” difficulty mode and the time of matches which may be increased up to 10 minutes. Other modes will be inaccessible.
Version 1.1.0 update will include improvements of win/loss decision-making in online matches, enhancements of server capacity and preparation for future initiatives such as data sharing between console and mobile.

After the maintenance is completed, SEASON 2 is scheduled to kick-off on June 16th, which will be accompanied by various in-game events.

Version 1.1.0 is also good news for mobile gamers. Indeed, Konami announces that this version will be accompanied by the upgrade from eFootball 2021 to eFootball 2022 on mobiles. This new version will feature gameplay changes to put the mobile version updated and aligned with console versions. Additionally, it will add the mode Dream Teamas well as server improvements as for the update on consoles. Finally, note that all account created on eFootball 2022 mobile before May 30 will receive 300 eFootball Coins.
The v1.1.0 update will include new gameplay and Dream Team, as well as improvements of win/loss decision-making in online matches and server enhancements through the adoption of a client server system.

version 1.1.0 of eFootball 2022 will arrive on PC, consoles and mobiles on June 2. Season 2 should arrive on June 14 on PC and consoles.
