The adulticide product used is composed of Deltamethrin at a low dosage. The mist created during the treatment falls at ground and on surfaces within half an hour following its production, knowing that the persistence of this product is low”, writes the regional health agency in a press release.

Several rules must be followed during this mosquito control operation:
– Stay inside, windows closed, during this operation and up to ½ hour following the vehicle passes
– Bring in laundry, toys and cover any object that might be used by children. In case of contact, clean them with water
– Clean the surfaces of outdoor furniture with water
– Keep pets indoors and empty water dishes
– Wait two days before consuming fruits and vegetables from the garden, washing before consumption
