Education between assessment and evaluation – Obelisk

Baghdad/Obelisk:

Mohamed Fakhry Mawla

External evaluation is an important step undertaken by the Ministry of Education. Its nominal goal, following five years of continuous work, is to have a self-evaluation of educational educational institutions, so that the supervisor becomes a critical friend, the principal directs, and the teacher is an active development leader. Taking into account the individual differences of the educated individual and in harmony with his desires and inclinations, so that the final outcome is a generation of leaders within the criterion of good citizenship, to lead the country towards a future full of giving and achievement.

So we are facing a huge and difficult task because it is related to the local reality and the evaluation of the current situation will be unfair to a large number of public schools and their cadres.

Public public education is an education for all, and urging students to attend school is a concern for everyone, because the alternative to it will definitely not serve society.

So public public education is obligatory for all, and government public education schools must accommodate everyone. In light of the lack of school buildings, it may reach 20,000 twenty thousand schools. With future plans, we find it difficult, but rather lack of fulfillment and appreciation, for all the benevolent efforts in schools that are trying to conduct the educational process. And proceed with the challenging year towards achieving its desired goals.

To distinguish and scrutinize the evaluation so that those who were allowed the location and environment of the accompanying school with a certain number of regular students feel that its evaluation is high and vice versa.

Therefore, we seek guidance from the Ministry of Education for all external evaluation committees to focus on evaluation, not evaluation. Evaluation may be useful, but it falls within a narrow horizon, while evaluation related to studying the actual situation of schools coinciding with the development of future plans is a completely different matter.

Let’s get to the bottom line

If there was no shortage of schools, as well as the educational and administrative staff associated with the lack of education logistics, then we can evaluate because the student, regardless of his geographical location, will receive real educational hours that qualify him for a new stage.

In conclusion, we wish the Ministry of Education to direct its cadres in charge of the external evaluation to archive and tabulate the results, as these results are an effective tool for drawing the near and distant future, and we do not scrutinize the evaluation.
