The candidate of the Unitary Platform, Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutiaspoke out through his social networks to inform that he will not appear before the Supreme Court of Justice, TSJ, this Wednesday.
González Urrutia was due to appear before the country’s highest court to comply with the submission of all electoral instruments of legal relevance that are in the possession of political parties related to the presidential election process of July 28.
González said he will not attend the Supreme Court’s summons arising from the appeal for protection filed by President Nicolás Maduro before the Electoral Chamber.
The president of the Supreme Court of Justice and the Electoral Chamber, Caryslia Rodríguez, ratified this Tuesday the summons to the 10 candidates who participated in the presidential election of July 28.

Starting this Wednesday, the former presidential candidates must appear before the TSJ in the framework of the clarification of the electoral contest of July 28, in which President Nicolás Maduro emerged victorious.
The first to be summoned are representatives of the parties Un Nuevo Tiempo; Mesa de la Unidad Democrática, Edmundo González, scheduled for 11 a.m., announced that he will not attend and Movimiento Por Venezuela.
