Regarding the summons of the Electoral Chamber of the TSJ, he indicated that if he were to attend “I would do it in a situation of absolute defenselessness”because the advanced procedure “it does not correspond to any legal procedure”contemplated in the laws, and would put at risk, “Not only my freedom, but more importantly, the will of the Venezuelan people expressed on July 28, 2024”.
He indicated that the Electoral Chamber cannot usurp the functions of the Electoral Power and urged the authorities to return to their senses.
