Currently, agricultural systems are under the prism of three main interconnected issues: agricultural productivity to ensure food security, income and quality of life of farmers and the environment. The search for more sustainable agricultural production models is therefore essential. Several issues published by the journal Rural economy in 2023 have helped to shed light on scientific debates on political and economic developments in the agricultural and rural world.
