EDION signed a naming rights contract with Hiroshima City for the Hiroshima Soccer Stadium. The name of Hiroshima Soccer Stadium was changed to “EDION PEACE WING HIROSHIMA”. The nominal usage period is 10 years from February 1, 2024 to January 31, 2034.
Hiroshima Soccer Stadium is a new soccer stadium scheduled to open in 2024 as the new home stadium of Sanfrecce Hiroshima. This is part of a project to create a world-class soccer stadium and a “stadium park” centered on a vast lawn square in the central park square located in the center of Hiroshima City.
In March, the city of Hiroshima began recruiting naming rights, and the conditions were a term of use of the name of at least five years and a naming rights fee of at least 100 million yen per year. The contract stipulates a naming rights fee of 100 million yen per year and a usage period of 10 years.
The size of the stadium is regarding 49,900 m2construction area of regarding 26,700m2Total floor area regarding 60,000m2, 7 floors above ground, maximum height of regarding 42m. The number of seats is regarding 30,000, including 300 wheelchair seats. The field is natural grass.
Stadium Park is located at Central Park Square, 15 Motomachi, Naka-ku, Hiroshima City, with a site area of approximately 85,600m.2(Entire Central Park: Approx. 427,600m2)。
