Ed Westwick marries in style: nothing to envy his wedding as Chuck Bass in ‘Gossip Girl’! | LOS40

It’s been a decade since Chuck Bass and Blair Waldorf, the most famous couple in the scandalous life of Manhattan’s elite, decided to say “I do” in Central Park in the famous series Gossip Girl. A dream wedding that made fans of the series very happy. And no wonder! They had been waiting for it for years!

But Ed Westwick, the British actor who played Chuck Bass, has had to wait another decade to get married in real life. This August, the actor walked down the aisle to say “I do” to actress Amy Jackson. And they did it in style, in a ceremony that seemed straight out of the Gossip Girl series!

An Italian wedding

The wedding took place this weekend, from 22nd to 24th August… yes, three days of celebration! And it was in a dreamlike setting. Nothing more and nothing less than the Amalfi Coast in Italy.

The couple flew to Italy on a private jet. And we’re not surprised, because the theme of the wedding was, nothing more and nothing less, than the Dolce Vita. The guests enjoyed the party, as we have seen on social media, by the sea. And what photos the couple shared. It looks like something out of a romantic movie.

In fact, the place where they got married on Saturday was, no more and no less, a castle. The Castle of Rocca Cilento in the city of Lustra. A fortress by the sea that is surrounded by nature. Chuck Bass couldn’t have done it better.

The bride, actress Amy Jackson, decided to wear a very original design. A Vivienne Westwood dress with a corset and classic neckline. But that wasn’t the only dress she wore. The actress then opted for a design with an open neck and back. It’s true that both dresses looked incredible on her.

Of course, there was no shortage of well-known faces from Gossip Girl, such as Kelly Rutherford, the actress who played Lily Van Der Woodsen. And after the end of the series, they have continued to keep in touch. “I am so happy to have your friendship, to have had the opportunity to have worked with you. It is a gift to see you grow and fall in love. You are an incredible man,” Kelly wrote.

We certainly love that Ed has found love in real life too.
