Ed Sheeran concert in Gdansk. How to get there and avoid traffic jams?

Major traffic slowdowns are to be expected on Macieja Płażyńskiego Avenue and Marynarki Polskiej Street. Drivers going to Nowy Port or Letnica, or wanting to use the tunnel, should choose an alternative route following 3:00 p.m. on these days.

From Thursday from 8:00 p.m. to Sunday until 6:00 a.m., Pokoleń Lechii Gdańsk Street will be closed. From 1:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Uczniowska Street, the section between Starowiejska and Sucha Streets, will also be closed.

On Friday and Saturday from 1:00 p.m., only holders of tickets for Parking P4 will be able to enter Żaglowa Street from Marynarki Polskiej Street. From 4:00 p.m. on Friday, the exit from Macieja Płażyńskiego Avenue to Pokoleń Lechii Gdańsk Street will be possible only for people with tickets for Parking P1. Both on Friday and Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to midnight, the Żaglowa – AmberExpo and Mostostal stop pairs will be closed.

Changes to the roads around the stadium may be implemented dynamically due to the intensity of car traffic.

The concert can be reached by tram line 7 and bus line 158. Additional courses will be launched. In connection with the event on 12-13.07.2024, additional PKP SKM trains will be launched on the Gdańsk Główny – Gdańsk Stadion-Expo – Gdańsk Główny section. These trains from Gdańsk Główny station will run from platforms 4 and 5. A ticket for this connection is valid for a return journey (each day separately). Tickets are sold online only. The first train following the concert will depart at 22:50.
