Bazar ED: Where Shopping Meets Fun and Food!
Welcome, my dear readers! Buckle up because the 16th edition of the Bazar ED is rolling into town, and it’s promising to be a hoot! Yes, folks, it’s the one-stop-shop where you can immerse yourself in workshops, live music, a smorgasbord of gastronomic delights, and, lest we forget, more than 200 stalls stuffed with everything from high-end fashion to… well, let’s be honest, probably that quirky stuff you didn’t know you needed until today.
Francisca Maturana, the director of ED, is practically beaming with joy. She’s not just happy to celebrate 16 years of Bazar ED; she wants it to be a ‘milestone within the year’. As if that’s not ambitious enough, she’s also promised us good music, master classes, workshops, and restaurants galore. Too good to be true? You’ll just have to find out yourself over this four-day extravaganza!
The opening day will feature the participation of the prominent national singer Pedropiedra.
Get your tickets! They’re on sale now through Ticketmaster with some cheeky discounts for Visa Infinite, Signature customers, and Mivita card holders. Who doesn’t love a good bargain?
What’s On Offer?
What can you expect? Well, apart from the usual suspects like fabulous designers and local brands, we’ve got newcomers on the scene! Yes, for the first time, Antico Home, a shiny new name aiming to enhance your living space with neuroarchitecture and well-being, will be strutting its stuff. Seriously, neuroarchitecture? I can’t even get my brain to have a good night’s sleep!
Let’s not forget the veterans of the scene—designers like Karyn Coo, Sarika Rodrik, and Rosita Parsons are back again, promising to turn heads and perhaps some wallets inside out. Carolina Abadie, the genius behind La Tienda de Carolina, has been around since the inception of this beast and plans to dazzle once more. It’s like a family reunion for brands, but with less awkward small talk and more fabulous fashion.
Food, Glorious Food!
Now, if you’re anything like me, you’ll be delighted to hear that this year’s Bazar is also serving up some culinary joy! Get ready to taste your way through stalls by Social, La Cocina de Ángeles Álamos, and Puelo Café. Your taste buds will be as entertained as your shopping spree. And hey, if you do eat too much, at least you’ve got a good excuse to keep shopping—“I swear, these shoes are for cardio!”
Hey, It’s All About the History!
Now, let’s take a quick trip down memory lane. Over the past 16 years, Bazar ED hasn’t just been a shopping mall but a platform where brands—some who didn’t even have digital strategies (remember those days?)—could showcase their offerings. Now that’s growth! As the fair has evolved, it’s embraced new consumer trends, added talks for entrepreneurs, and has stood firm as a cornerstone in the national entrepreneurial ecosystem.
And just when you thought it couldn’t get cooler, in 2012 they launched bazared.cl, one of the first online marketplaces in Chile. If you thought shopping was addictive before, now it’s gone digital! There are 15,000 products by over 250 entrepreneurs waiting for you, so good luck saying no to that late-night “just one more click” temptation.

Brand diversity
This year’s event promises diverse participation, showcasing over 200 brands, which range from established national and international names to innovative newcomers eager to leverage this platform to spotlight their unique products and ideas.
Among the standout participants this year are notable designers such as Karyn Coo, Sarika Rodrik, and Rosita Parsons, joining forces with the Soy María María store. Each one aims to present distinctive offerings that are sure to captivate attendees.
This year will also provide a unique opportunity for visitors to discover emerging brands like Antico Home, a recent line focused on decoration and design from Antico Studio, dedicated to neuroarchitecture and wellness.
The brand director and Argentine architect, Ana Antico, highlighted, “We view this fair as an excellent platform because Antico Home aligns seamlessly with the ethos and audience of the ED Bazaar. It serves as a prominent showcase for our brand.”
Carolina Abadie, creator of La Tienda de Carolina and a veteran of Bazar ED since its inception, echoes the event’s significance. She recalls, “Participating in the bazaar was instrumental in establishing our brand visibility, especially when social media was not as pervasive. It has served as a tremendous showcase, and we eagerly anticipate reaching even broader audiences this year.”
In addition to its variety of stores, attendees will be treated to a gastronomic journey featuring acclaimed restaurants such as Social, La Cocina de Ángeles Álamos, and Puelo Café, offering a plethora of culinary delights to enhance the overall fair experience.
On the exciting opening day of the ED 2024 Bazaar, the spotlight will shine on the well-loved national artist Pedropiedra, who is set to enchant the audience with his greatest hits live from the Parque Bicentenario de Vitacura stage.
About 200 stores will participate in the event, making it one of the largest gatherings of designers and entrepreneurs.
History of Bazaar ED
Over its sixteen years of existence, ED has maintained a reputation for showcasing the latest trends in design, fashion, and decoration, attributable to a meticulously curated selection of brands and local design talents.
Since its inception, the fair has served not only as a platform for brand visibility at a time when many lacked access to modern marketing tools such as social networks and digital strategies, but also as a networking opportunity for participants, thereby strengthening the national entrepreneurial ecosystem.
As it evolved, the firm has incorporated parallel activities to enrich its program, such as workshops for entrepreneurs, while also implementing various innovations to meet shifting consumer trends.
Notably, in 2012, they launched bazared.cl, one of Chile’s pioneering online marketplaces, which continues to thrive today, featuring around fifteen thousand products sourced from over 250 talented entrepreneurs.
