SSA has begun sending Social Security payments for the month of July to retired workers and recipients of Supplemental Security Income (SSI).
This year, the median monthly payments were $1,657 for retired workers and $2,753 for married couples. Meanwhile, SSI recipients receive, on average, $624.
July payment dates
Following the payment remittance scheme, July 1: payment was sent to recipients of Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and recipients who began receiving their payments before May 1997.
The rest of the july payments is programmed as follows:
-July 13: Beneficiaries with a date of birth between 1 and 10
-July 20: Beneficiaries with a date of birth between 11 and 20
-July 27: Beneficiaries with a date of birth between 21 and 31
