Business groups have unanimously expressed their condolences over the death of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who was shot and killed during an election campaign.

On the same day, the Federation of Entrepreneurs of Korea (Former Federation of Korean Industries) said, “On behalf of the Korean business community, we express our deepest condolences to the sudden passing of former Prime Minister Abe.”

The Korea Employers’ Federation (KKE) said the day before, “We wish the deceased, who was respected by the Japanese people as the youngest and longest-serving prime minister in Japanese history.”

Former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was shot and killed during an election campaign in Nara City, Nara Prefecture, Japan the morning of the previous day.
He was later taken to the hospital and died while receiving treatment.
