Econet Editora Recognized as a Tax Information Leader in Brazil

In Brazil, where the tax and taxation system is marked by its complexityaccountants and companies face the challenge of interpreting standards that change frequently. To deal with this scenario, access to reliable information and practical tools has become essential. It was in this context that Econet Editora, founded in Curitiba in 2002, began offering technical support to professionals in the field.

This work was recognized in November, when Econet received, for the third consecutive year, the Confeb Award in the “content and tax guidance” category. Promoted by Live University, this award highlights companies that contribute to tax management in Brazil. “For us at Econet Editora, the recognition reflects the company’s relevance in a market where errors in tax interpretation can be costly”, says Juliano Garrett, the company’s executive director of Consulting and Writing.

From the first bulletin to technological innovation

Econet’s history began with digital bulletins that translated tax rules into a more accessible language for professionals who were dealing with the difficulties of keeping up with updates from the Official Gazette. In a short time, in addition to newsletters, the company expanded its operations through courses and consultancy.

Currently, Econet serves more than 57 thousand subscribers across the country and provides more than 200 digital tools, ranging from tax simulators to consultation platforms based on artificial intelligence (AI). “Reliable and accessible information is the essence of our work,” says Garrett. And reinforces that, in 2024, the company launched an interactive library that allows quick answers to tax questions, optimizing the time of professionals who work under pressure.

Preparing for the future: Tax Reform

With the imminence of Tax Reform and the advancement of tax digitalization, the demands of the tax market tend to become even more challenging. The transition to new rules, combined with increased electronic inspection, will require companies to invest in tools that combine technology, agility and precision.

In this scenario, Econet Editora has expanded its efforts to develop solutions that help accountants and businesspeople adapt to changes. With this in mind, in November, Econet launched the EcoTransição Simulator, which intuitively shows how the tax burden will change throughout the transition period.

“The objective of the tool is to support companies and service providers to visualize, in a practical way, how the tax transition will impact their business, allowing entrepreneurs to plan with more precision”, explains Juliano Garrett. To learn more about EcoTransição, just watch the video on YouTube.

Furthermore, Econet Editora will hold a free live broadcast on December 18th, at 3 pm (Brasília time), to clarify doubts about the impact of the Tax Reform on the services sector. The broadcast will be made via the company’s YouTube channel (@canaldaeconet), which can be accessed at Econet Editora.
