He said what they did was the “minimal punishment” for Israel for its “shocking crimes.”
He described Israel as a “vampire” regime and the United States as a “mad dog” in the region. And he warned that the Islamic Republic will carry out “any related tasks” against Israel with “strength and fortitude.”
He twice emphasized that Iran will not “hesitate” or “procrastinate” when it comes to Israel.
In his first part of the speech, which he delivered in Persian, he emphasized the “unity” of Muslims around the world based on the principles of the Islamic holy book, the Quran.
He said that the enemy of Iran is the same as the enemy of a Palestinian state, Lebanon and other Muslim nations.
Khamenei formally holds the title of Friday prayer leader in Tehran, but typically assigns sermons to a rotating cast of subordinates.

It also comes three days after Iran launched a barrage of missiles at Israel in retaliation for the assassinations of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) commander Abbas Nilforoushan, as well as Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran in July.

Khamenei urged countries from “Afghanistan to Yemen and from Iran to Gaza and Yemen” to be prepared to take action against the enemy, and praised those who fell in combat.
“Our people who resist in Lebanon and Palestine, brave fighters, loyal and patient people, the martyrs and the blood shed must not shake their determination but make them more persistent,” he added.
Also on Friday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrived in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, where he is expected to discuss the war between Israel and Hezbollah with the country’s authorities.
