After the success of the very good Severed Steel, released in September 2021, the developer said to himself that he had to use everything he had learned to create a new FPS. He therefore announces today Echo Point Nova, a shooting game in subjective view, in an open-world which can be traveled solo or in cooperation. The character will still benefit from a range of acrobatic movements as effective as they are impressive, as well as weapons qualified as “satisfactory”. However, the graphic aspect of the environments does not give, for the moment, really envy. It looks empty and uninspiring, like it’s procedurally generated by the depressive Bing Chat. The enemies, giant robots, do not send dreams either. But let’s not bury it just yet, the game may just be at an early stage of development.
