ECB Raises Key Rates: Impact on Inflation and Financial Markets

This is the highest level in its history: the European Central Bank (ECB) has decided to raise its key rates by 25 basis points. The deposit rate, which is a reference, reaches 4%. “Inflation continues to slow but is still expected to remain too high for too long a period,” she underlines in her press release published early Thursday afternoon.
