Dr. Mikhail Ginsburg, a Russian nutrition expert, announced that eating an apple every day positively affects the body, as it maintains a beautiful smile, helps the brain work and plays a role in preventing cancer, according to Russia Today.
In a television interview, the expert points out that apples have many benefits, as they are rich in antioxidants and dietary fiber that resist the negative effects of aging, and have a comprehensive positive effect on the body.
He adds, apples contain a high percentage of carbohydrates and sugar that are essential for the functioning of the brain. For example, nerve cells need a long process to obtain glucose, but apples contain fructose, which reaches the nerve cells quickly and within a short period of time.
The phytonutrient compounds found in apples and other fruits stimulate the production of new cells in the brain, which activates its work and improves memory. And because it contains a group of vitamins B, it improves mood as well.

Since apples contain a high percentage of dietary fiber necessary for the functioning of the intestine, it reduces the risk of developing bowel cancer.
