He added, “We can make a person more resistant to stress by eating foods, more precisely, the micronutrients that the brain needs to function properly. The first micronutrient for this purpose is omega-3, which is found in marine fish. Omega-3 acids can also be used. It is found in flaxseed oil and taken as a supplement.
The Russian expert pointed out that omega-6 acids, which are found in sunflower oil, corn and sweets, are frequently used in the daily diet. But the frequent use of these products increases the level of anxiety.
He concluded, “If we want to be more stress-resistant, it is better for us to replace at least sunflower oil in our daily diet with olive oil or coconut oil.”
