Seeking to position itself in high-potential destinations both in terms of customer demand and the richness of the experience offered, the Easyjet delegation discussed with the Moroccan delegation, chaired by Fatim-Zahra Ammor, Minister of Tourism, Crafts and the Social and Solidarity Economy, accompanied by Adel El Fakir, Director General of the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT), of the future developments of the airline.
On this occasion, Johan Lundgren and Gary Wilson on the one hand signed with Adel El Fakir two partnership contracts relating to the winter programming of the Easyjet group in Morocco, indicates a press release from the ONMT which also announces the signing of a partnership more important over several years which will be initialed in the coming weeks and which will record the significant increase in capacity and the opening of new lines to several Moroccan destinations.
Pour Adel El Fakir, “the objective of this future partnership will be to consolidate the presence of Easyjet on Agadir and Marrakech, but also to imagine the strategic partnership which will allow Easyjet to develop on other Moroccan destinations and to connect the kingdom to the 34 European markets from which it already operates”.
According to the same press release, the group’s idea is to position itself not only as an airline, but also as a tour operator which will be able to fill a large part of its air seats to Morocco with its own customers in packages.
