Tired of the same old fried or baked salmon? Use these delicious marinated salmon skewers, flavored with fresh ginger, soy sauce, honey and lemon. They are wonderfully aromatic and super easy to make for a quick and easy weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 peeled shallot
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, cored and stemmed
  • 1 green bell pepper, cored and stemmed
  • 6 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 lime, expressed
  • Olive oil
  • Oven-safe skewers
  • Chives, to decorate

Paso 1

Cut the salmon fillets into medium cubes.

Now finely chop the shallot.

Cut the pepper into medium cubes, taking care to remove the seeds first.

In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, shallot, and grated ginger.

Add the lemon and honey, beat vigorously so that all the ingredients are integrated.

In a medium bowl, place salmon and pour sauce over top. Let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Alternately place salmon and bell pepper on skewer sticks.

Place a sheet of baking paper on a tray and lightly grease the paper with olive oil.

Place the skewers on the baking paper.

Bake in preheated oven for 8 minutes or until cooked through. The salmon should flake easily with a fork when done.
