The butchers, as broadcast on the morning of Wednesday 3/4 by Mega’s show “Society Hour MEGA” with Anthi Voulgari and Iordanis Hasapopoulos, imply that The next days it will be difficult for consumers to find lamb or goat, as fearing, as they say, the basket that entered the supermarkets, they did not procure sufficient quantities themselves.
Already it “easter basket” in supermarkets it is in its second week of implementation and according to the data of the Ministry of Development, the prices of 96.02% of the products included in it are reduced or kept constant.
“From the moment we hear the prices that the supermarkets will sell and the State to send people to the supermarkets, it makes sense to hold back, buy less and slowly sell out,” says Savvas Kesidis, president of the Panhellenic Federation of Butchers.
From his side Ministry of Development makes it clear that all consumers will be able to find a quality product at an affordable price.
In the following days and culminating on Holy Saturday, the market is expected to “catch fire” and the war of nerves with the price of the arrow seems to continue.
Breeders are ringing the “bell” for shortages of lambs at Easter
