Yesterday, the first payment of advance tax refunds was made in the context of Operation Income 2024, for those who submitted their declaration to the Internal Revenue Service between April 1 and 8.
In total, there are more than 25 thousand declarations that are being paid at this stage in the region, for an amount close to $6 billion.
The regional treasurer of Ñuble, Juan Paulo Lara, stated that, “for taxpayers who declared their tax between April 1 and 8, today (yesterday) the first tax refunds were generated at the national level and for the region they were authorized In this first issue, 25 thousand tax refunds for taxpayers for an amount of $6,000 million pesos.”
Lara specified that “of them, 22 thousand deposits and 101 checks were generated.” In that sense, he explained that, “the balance corresponds to withholdings or compensations that, according to the law, had to be made to taxpayers who owed both taxes and other tax credits. In this sense, it must be kept in mind that the withholdings had different causes, among which were the university credit, the university credit with a tax guarantee, withholdings from health institutions and withholdings for alimony debtors, which in the region “They reached 161 cases, for $19 million.”
The authority clarified that “this is the first issuance, since there are two others that will occur within the month of May,” for those who declared following April 8.
In addition, he called on those who have not yet filed their income tax return to file it within the established deadline, which expires on May 10.
