Lung cancer is considered one of the most dangerous diseases spread around the world, and the reason is that it is difficult to detect it except with the progression of the disease, because its symptoms do not appear in the early stages.

Although coughing is a warning sign that you should pay close attention to, its appearance with other diseases has prompted some people to question the characteristics of cough that warn of lung cancer.
When is a cough a sign of lung cancer?
In this regard, the NHS has made it clear that the duration of the cough is one of the things that can be relied upon, to know whether it is caused by lung cancer or not.

The British authority added that a cough that detects lung cancer usually lasts from two to three weeks, and is accompanied by blood, according to the “Russia Today” website.
She reported that the lung cancer cough is also accompanied by difficulty breathing, wheezing and hoarseness of the voice, stressing the need to visit a doctor, if coughing occurs with these symptoms.

Lung cancer early symptoms
She pointed out that there are other signs that may be indicative of lung cancer, which are:
Chest pain when breathing.
Constant fatigue.
Low body energy.
