According to the Hydrology and Water Resources Center of the province, the rapid rise in temperature has accelerated the melting of ice and snow. Consequently, the river opened six days earlier than usual on March 27th at the Jiangqiao section of the main stream. Other sections of the river are still frozen and are expected to open in early April. Several beautiful pictures were taken after the river was opened, including fishing boats catching Kaijiang fish and ice cubes squeezing to the shore.

It is understood that other sections of the main stream of the Nen River are still in a frozen state, and the river is expected to open in early April.
