Bergamo and Brescia, Italy, June 12 /PRNewswire/ – Italian Capital of Culture 2023
Promoting innovation and awareness through different artistic languages to create contexts more focused on youth: this is precisely the goal of the Bergamo-Brescia Festivals 2023, open to everyone in the coming months.
In a time marked by climate change, this is loading Landscape Festival invites you to reflect on the balance between man and nature, to harmonize the coexistence of humanity, architecture and nature, and to transform a space into a living space. For the first time, the festival will take place in Bergamo and Brescia (September 7th to 24th) with installations and seminars by international landscape artists.
Biodiversity is at the heart of Una sola terra (September 22-24), which attracts international scholars, journalists and activists to Brescia for workshops, performances and trips. Meetings with writers and science communicators are organized for Librixia, the book fair of Brescia.
Two touring concerts will be performed: Bergamo Brescia – City of Organs (Orgelstadt) (September 22nd to October 29th) to celebrate the organ tradition with European and US musicians as part of the International Baroque Music Festival, Alchemy of the Arts. Material and immaterial (September 23rd to October 30th) presents artists who have worked in the fields of music of Italian and international masters.
Art and technology presence at the Zone Digitali (October 6-8) at Bergamo’s Daste venue: three days of performances, installations and talks highlighting the contemporary scene’s love of experimentation.
The The X Days Festival (September 14th to 23rd in Brescia) offers a multidisciplinary approach to current challenges with conferences and concerts with international authors who represent different perspectives on current changes.
Nobel prize winners and international experts become Bergamoscienza (September 29th to October 15th)which is dedicated to scientific culture, with conferences, workshops and virtual tours. The event will start with the “Svalvolati” exhibition in the Palazzo della Libertà, which will tell the story of heart treatments using multimedia devices.
