Signify, the parent company of Philips Hue lights, announces the availability of an application on certain Samsung TVs to synchronize what is happening on the screen with the lights of the Hue range. The Philips Hue Sync TV app costs a whopping $129 and is available to download from stores for 2022 and newer Samsung QLED TVs in the Q60 range or higher. It is also possible to take advantage of this synchronization on a third-party television, but it will then be necessary to go through the additional box Philips Hue Play HDMI Sync Box invoiced even more expensive (it is currently on promotion at 231 euros). As a reminder, modern Philips televisions equipped with Ambilight can also synchronize the image with Philips Hue lights, in addition to the integrated Ambilight.
