E.V. Conclave Series 2023 Begins – NEWS 360 – BUSINESS

Thiruvananthapuram: State Electric Vehicles Consortium Conclave Series 2023 has started. EV is jointly organized by Kerala Development and Innovation Strategic Council and EV Consortium partners Travancore Titanium Products Limited, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, Center for Development of Advanced Computing and Thiruvananthapuram Engineering Science and Technology Research Park. Conducting Conclave Series.

The EV Consortium supports the government to accelerate the transition to sustainable transport and promote indigenization of electric vehicle (EV) sub-systems and components in the state. The aim is to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 and develop an ecosystem in the state.

The first one-day conclave of the series on Lithium Titanium Oxide Batteries and their Battery Management System was held at Hysynth Hotel, Thiruvananthapuram. K-Disc Member Secretary Dr. P. V. VSSC in the presence of Unnikrishnan. Deputy Director (PCM) Dr. S. A. Ilangovan inaugurated.

Keltron C.M.D.N. Narayanamurthy, TTPL MD George Nainan, Trust Research Park CEO Dr. Koshi P. Vaidyan, V. Chandrasekhar, Senior Director, PEG, C-DAC participated.

The conclave also saw the release of a white paper on indigenous LTO-BMS developed by C-DAC and the inauguration of the Battery Materials Research Center (BMRC) at TTPL with funding from K-Disc. Experts from industries, R&D centers and academic institutions across the country participated in the conclave to discuss various technical aspects and indigenous technological developments in LTO battery and e-mobility.
