Sharjah: E-signature service for vehicle registration has been launched in Sharjah. This is part of the vehicle registration department under the Sharjah Police to provide better services to the vehicle users.
Officials said this is part of the Home Ministry’s activities aimed at ensuring that all administrative services meet the standards of quality, efficiency and transparency. Head of Vehicle Registration Section of Sharjah Police Lt. Colonel Abdul Rehman Khater said.
How to register?
First, visit the website of the Ministry of Home Affairs. Then select traffic services and sign the agreement. Then activate the digital identity and get the services. E-Signature facilitates transactions related to vehicle ownership, export, registration and transfer without visiting a service center.
Registration of company vehicles
Khater said companies are also eligible to use the service if they issue a letter of representation from the company to allow a member of the company to carry out their duties in registration, renewal and transfer of ownership of company vehicles. HEAVY VEHICLES TESTING CENTER (TASJIL) – INDUSTRIAL AREA NO. 12, Red Patch Police Office (Car Showrooms), Al Daed Vehicle Registration Department, Kalba Police Station and any representative should visit and sign.
