The fresco, according to the artist, was produced as part of his coexistence project. The project, according to Eduardo Kobra, deals with themes relating to religious freedom, respect for the most diverse beliefs, the need for peaceful and harmonious coexistence between members of different churches, etc. Following his research on Benin, he concluded that Benin is a Nation that rests on the pillars of religious freedom and where different beliefs coexist.
