E-bike rider falls dead with woman on luggage rack
An e-bike rider rode through Horgen with a woman on the luggage rack. For unknown reasons, the two fell onto the street. The driver died on Saturday, the woman was unharmed.

On Saturday, at 9:45 p.m., a man (56) rode an e-bike with a passenger (29) on Neugasse from the Oberdorf train station down towards the center. In the left-hand bend before the underpass, the man lost control of his vehicle for reasons unknown and crashed. In doing so, he sustained life-threatening injuries.
The 29-year-old passenger was not injured. After medical first aid by an ambulance team, the seriously injured man was taken to a hospital. He died in the hospital on Saturday, the Zurich cantonal police said on Sunday.
The course of the accident is still unclear
Exactly how the woman drove and how the accident happened is the subject of ongoing investigations by the Zurich cantonal police and the Zurich-Limmat public prosecutor. (jwg)
