Dyson presents its headphones with air purifier

Dyson has just presented its brand new product: noise reduction headphones with an integrated air purifier to protect once morest urban pollution.

If you want to walk around town while isolating yourself from noise and fine particles, then the new Dyson Zone is made for you. Provided you accept its unusual design, reminiscent of Bane’s mask in Batman.

Dyson, the English giant specializing in vacuum cleaners and hair dryers is now launching into audio headphones. But not just any, since his new headphones also have a removable air purifier. The latter allows you to protect yourself from all the harmful particles present in the air. The brand specifies that it can filter up to 99% of particles, even the smallest of 0.1 microns. The brand indicated that it was working on this innovative project long before the Covid-19 pandemic. Air is drawn in through each earbud, then filtered and routed past the mouth and nose. The purified air therefore does not come into contact with the face.

Regarding noise reduction, the helmet can cancel up to 38 decibels of noise. On the autonomy side, the battery can hold 50 hours, provided that the air purifier is not activated. Otherwise, the battery loses four hours of autonomy. And it takes 3 hours to fully charge the device. The helmet is available in two colors: Ultra Blue/Prussian Blue and Prussian Blue/Bright Copper.

The Dyson Zone will be released in 2023 in the United States. No specific date has been communicated at this time. But it will be possible to pre-order it before its release date. Indeed, stocks are rather limited. Finally, to get it you will have to pay 949 dollars. A rather high price justified by technological innovation. But given the design and the price, it’s hard to imagine many people carrying it around on the street. And you what do you think ?
