Dylan Schneider: It was absolutely surreal. I was just a teenager, and getting to share the stage with someone I admired so much was a dream come true. It showed me how powerful live performances could be and ignited a fire in me to pursue music seriously. That night, I realized that I wanted to tell stories through my songs just like the artists I looked up to.
Editor: That’s incredible! How did that experience shape the themes of your music?
Dylan Schneider: Country music has this unique ability to tell stories that resonate with people’s lives. After that performance, I started writing songs about my own experiences, love, heartbreak, and everything in between. I wanted my music to connect with others the way Brett’s music connected with me.
Editor: At such a young age, what challenges have you faced as an emerging artist in the country music scene?
Dylan Schneider: There have definitely been challenges, like finding my unique voice and balancing everything with school and life. But every obstacle has taught me something valuable. I’ve learned to stay true to myself and not rush the process. It’s all about growth.

As I’ve gained more experience, my sound has continued to evolve, and I think people will definitely hear that in my new EP, *Bad Decisions*.
