Dying Light 2’s DLC is also hit by the wave of delays.

We are going through tough days in terms of the delays of several highly anticipated titles such as Redfall and Starfield, but the trend seems to be contagious and has been joined by another victim, smaller in scale admittedly, but one that many have been eagerly awaiting. , and I’m referring to Dying Light 2’s DLC which was meant to expand on the main story.

That said, not everything is negative, as more updates are still scheduled to be released within the originally planned timeline.

Dying Light 2 just keeps churning out content.

The delay was announced by Techland’s official Twitter account. The press release indicates that the extension will arrive in September and not in June as planned. With the developer’s signature transparency, the only excuse given was that they “need more time.” Along with the announcement, a roadmap was also released so fans can follow the content coming in the coming months.

In June, for example, a photo mode will be released at the same time as the first chapter entitled “In the footsteps of a night owl”. At the same time, more missions, enemies, rewards and new systems will be added. The second chapter is expected to arrive between November and December and will add more enemies, missions, and rewards.

The second story expansion doesn’t have an arrival date yet, but considering all the content planned for these latest updates, I can’t even imagine what this second DLC will bring.
