Dying Light 2 – Techland is preparing full patch 1.07

Developer Techland will release another comprehensive patch for next week Dying Light 2 publish. This takes on a few more serious problems.

You cancel that via Twitter announced that patch 1.07 will definitely be coming to PC next week, and to consoles a few days later. The improvements include the deathloop bug, the ragdoll animations, the user interface and much more. the Deathloop-Bug causes some players to be spawned in unfavorable positions, making progress difficult or impossible. This was already worked on with the previous patch, but is now being corrected again.

New Game Plus option is under investigation

Techland also emphasizes that they are seriously considering a New Game Plus option, although this was not initially intended for the game concept. Most recently, it was also said here that this is being considered and would like to be implemented as soon as possible.

Lead Designer Tymon Smektała recently commented that instead of the New Game Plus option, you should use the co-op mode to experience other aspects of the story.

“The idea was that you could see it in other people’s games through co-op. I can’t confirm a date for the New Game+ option, but we’re hearing your feedback. I hope it can and will happen pretty soon.”
