Game news Dying Light 2: following a series of DLCs, the arrival of a long-awaited mode is becoming clearer!
At the very beginning of February, Dying Light 2 was released on PC and next-gen consoles, just over seven years following the first episode. Straight out, straight out and buried? No, quite the contrary, because the developers are working behind the scenes to densify the gaming experience. To follow up on the DLCs that have recently appeared, a new patch would bring with it a new mode.

Dying Light, a rather meaty zombie game
After a well-conducted media campaign around the release of their latest creation, the developers of Techland did not abandon their workstations from the first second when the game found itself on the stalls of merchants. Even boasting loud and clear the astronomical amount of activities it offers us to perform, for an overall game time that defies all meters, Dying Light 2 intends to expand even further. For that, a series of free DLCs came to offer some little surprises to players while waiting for the major projects promised by Techland.
Since the release of Dying Light 2 : Stay Humanthe developers that make up the Polish studio are vocal regarding the subject of the game’s follow-up. Between speeches and interviewsthere is enough material to understand that their latest creation is made to last. While the new features are being implemented in dribs and drabs, Techland posted a message on Twitter to reassure players regarding a highly anticipated mode: the one that will allow them to explore the corners of La Cité once more, namely the New Game + mode.
We take the same and start once more !
We have been hearing regarding this famous New Game + mode since the launch of the game, but it seems that it is on the right track to be introduced within the title during the next few weeks. Absent during the launch, the teams preferred to give players time to explore the lands of Villedor, even if the addition of this functionality was clearly at the center of the debate in the studio premises.
We’re planning to release patch 3 on all platforms by the end of this month. Full notes will be available once the update is live. (2/2) ????
