Dybala shocks Saudi Al-Qadisiyah – Al-Marsad Libyan Newspaper

Dybala was absent from the photo session organised by the Italian League, on the assumption that he will not be part of Roma this season.

After bidding farewell to his teammates on Thursday and leaving the Trigoria training center “clearly affected,” according to Italian media, Dybala surprised everyone in the evening by reversing his decision to join Al-Qadisiyah, which had offered him a very tempting salary of 75 million euros for three seasons, or 25 million per season, according to reports.

There were conflicting press reports about the reason for not completing the deal with Al-Qadisiyah, as some media outlets said that Dybala was the one who refused to move to the Saudi League, while others reported that Roma considered Al-Qadisiyah’s offer an “insult” to the Italian giant and to the Argentine star himself.

Several reports indicated that Al-Qadisiyah submitted an offer worth only 3 million euros, in addition to bonuses, to sign a big player like Dybala.

Some newspapers noted that the farewell moments had a profound impact on Dybala, which prompted the player to change his mind about the current transfer window.

The Argentine player was also affected by the emotional scenes he received from his friends in Rome, especially his teammate and compatriot Leandro Paredes, Eduardo Boffi and his new teammate Matias Soli.

Dybala has received many gifts in recent days from Roma fans, while there have been several messages from Argentina urging him not to end his career in the Saudi league.

One of the reasons that may have played a major role in Dybala’s change of course was the lack of enthusiasm of his wife and mother for the idea of moving to Saudi Arabia, which actually affected his decision.

The 30-year-old’s contract with the capital club, which runs until the summer of 2025, includes a release clause that allows him to leave for 12 million euros, but it expired on July 31, with the option to renew automatically for an additional season with the same salary if he plays 14 official matches with the team this season, according to the Football Italia website.

Dybala attached the phrase “Thank you Roma.. See you Sunday” to the video clip he posted on Instagram on Thursday, as the capital club plays against Empoli in the second round of the Italian League.

Roma fans gathered under Dybala’s house to thank him for his decision to stay with the capital club, according to a video clip circulated by Italian media on Thursday night.
