DAWNEY Johnson has warmed the heart of a 2-year-old girl named Naomi who is struggling with a brain disorder. The man who is now 51 years old sang the song You’re Welcome which is from the soundtrack of the Disney film Moana
In the video, Johnson reads a message he received from the Make A Wish foundation and adds that his young fan has asked Uncle Maui (the character he plays in the film Moana) to send him a video of him singing his favorite song.
“Naomi’s eyesight is very limited due to her brain disorder but her sense of hearing has been enhanced and she loves music. “Naomi reacts positively to the song Moana every time she hears Maui’s voice,” said Johnson as quoted by the Mirror.
In his upload on his personal Instagram, Johnson wrote that Naomi was 2 years old and struggling in hospital with a brain disorder. Her wish was for Maui to send her a video of him singing You’re Welcome.
“As we know, there is a lot of noise and negativity out there, but I truly believe that positive energy, light and mana can make a real difference in people’s lives – especially when it comes to our children who are struggling,” he said.
Johnson added a touching personal message to his young fan.
“Naomi I hope you smile with this song and Uncle Maui will sing You’re Welcome whenever you need it,” stressed Johnson. (Z-10)
