Manchester United have settled an agreement with their new coach, who will lead the team to replace German Ralf Rangnick. “All the details have been agreed upon between the Manchester United board of directors and Dutch coach Eric Ten Hag,” Fabrizio Romano, an expert on transfers of players and coaches in Europe, wrote on his Facebook account. And he added, “The transfer strategy was also agreed upon, but that point will be discussed before the official announcement of the deal.” He added, “Manchester United will pay the value of the release clause in Ten Hag’s contract with Ajax, estimated at 2 million euros.” He continued, “The Dutch coach, Mitchell van der Gag, is the preferred candidate to join Ten Haag as an assistant coach at Manchester United.” Contracts are now being prepared, and are expected to be until June 2026 or 2025
