On November 20, Dutch politician Thierry Baudet, leader of the FVD party, had to go to hospital following being attacked. An individual had violently hit him several times with a glass bottle. Two men then came to his aid, probably his bodyguards, to return the blows to the attacker. The events took place at The Cabin café in Groningen, the Netherlands.
The police were able to arrest the suspect shortly following the incident, as reported by Het Laatste Nieuws. It would be a minor. An investigation is now taking place and several witnesses are being questioned. Surveillance cameras are also examined.
On Thursday October 26, the politician had already been violently attacked during a stay in Ghent. He had been hit by an individual making anti-Putin and anti-fascist remarks. This time, the attacker was quickly neutralized and taken away by the police.
