A Dutch bus driver was recently apprehended in the port area of Waasland, Antwerp, for drug trafficking, the Antwerp public prosecutor’s office reported on Monday, confirming information from the daily Gazet Van Antwerpen. The police discovered 333 kilos of cocaine in the hold of the bus.
Three passengers were also apprehended and presented, like the driver, to an investigating judge. The latter placed them under arrest warrant for participation in a criminal organization as well as the import and export of illicit substances.
