Man racing with tuning Mercedes in school group
Düsseldorf (NRW) – In Düsseldorf, a lowered Mercedes CLS crashed into a group of schoolchildren in the morning!
The emergency call reached the fire department at 7:41 a.m. 22 emergency services immediately moved to Hildener Strasse in Düsseldorf-Benrath with several ambulances.
One adult was seriously injured, police said. According to the fire department, the three students (11-12) were moderately and slightly injured.
They were also taken to a hospital to be on the safe side. A care center was set up in a nearby high school.
The cause of the accident has not yet been finally clarified. It is possible that the Benz driver might not see the traffic light because of the low-lying sun and therefore raced into the intersection when it was red.
The police are on duty with specialists from the accident investigation team. The investigations are ongoing.
