Dunkin’, the international franchise of donuts largest in the country, will celebrate in style the ‘world donut day‘, with the launch of various promotions nationwide from June 1 to 4, aimed at its thousands of fans in Peru.
To kick off the celebration, on the first day of June, the brand will reward the first 250 people who post a selfie with a donut-shaped object on their Instagram stories, tagging @dunkindonutsperu with the hashtag #donutspordoquier.

On Friday, June 2, the central day of the celebration, fans will have access to a 2-for-1 promotion on classic and premium donuts at Dunkin’ stores during three hours: from 11 am to 1 pm, from 3 pm to 5 pm, and from 7 pm to 10 pm (or closing of each store).
To continue the commemoration, from Friday the 2nd to Sunday the 4th of June, the brand’s customers will also be able to enjoy a free classic donut with the purchase of any Dunkin’ drink (hot or cold).
The promotions will be available in all Dunkin’ stores nationwide, located in Lima, Arequipa, Chiclayo, Trujillo and Callao. Does not apply to train stations, Chuck E. Cheese, Tambo and Paseo Central de Arequipa.
In the case of the 2×1 promotion, this will be valid only in stores or on the web, with the option of picking up in store or delivery free, and will not be available in Rappi, Peya and Didi. These applications will have other promotions.
Why is it celebrated?
Donut Day, originally celebrated in the United States, is celebrated on the first Friday of June each year. This curious day was created by the Salvation Army in Chicago in 1938 to honor those of its members who served donuts to soldiers during World War I.
