A truly unique model was chosen by Zendaya (27) for the premiere of her new film, the expected second part of Dune. She arrived in front of the audience in a robotic model of Thierry Mugler and his couture collection from autumn 1995.
Zendaya plays the warrior Chani, and for the London premiere she chose a model reminiscent of sexy armor, from which her thighs, breasts and butt peek out. But even these parts were part of it. So are high silver boots and long gloves.
Fans did not have much understanding for the design piece. The actress was often compared to, for example, the cyberwoman from the Torchwood series. “Futuristic? Don’t be ridiculous,” another viewer wrote.
But at least the second model of the actress, in which she arrived at the party following the premiere, might please the eyes of the critics. He mightn’t have been more different: it was a simple long black dress and classic pointe pumps.
