Citizens in Sidon were surprised today by the dumping of hundreds of medical tubes that are usually used in medical laboratories and in hospitals near one of the waste containers at the gate above, in a way that threatens public safety and the transmission of diseases and germs among people.
Citizens wondered what degree of disregard for public health and safety we have reached, especially since the city is already suffering from a waste crisis that individual and collective initiatives are working to address.
