due to his fragile health, this British tradition could be disrupted

Queen Elizabeth may not appoint the new Prime Minister at Buckingham Palace on September 6, as tradition dictates.

According to the Mirror, the appointment of Boris Johnson’s successor is expected to take place at the Queen’s holiday home, due to her fragile health.

Indeed, her doctor would have advised her not to travel too much and the latter is currently at Balmoral Castle in Scotland. She usually stays there from July to October.
