Troy Terry will be back on the Anaheim Ducks roster for the Washington Capitals game on Thursday (7 p.m. ET; NBCSWA, BSSC, ESPN+, SN NOW).
The forward has missed the last seven games following sustaining an upper-body injury once morest the Dallas Stars on Feb. 6.
The Ducks will however be deprived of the striker’s services Adam Henrique. The latter will be evaluated on a weekly basis, he who did not finish the game once morest the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday due to a lower body injury.
“It’s good to be able to count on Troy. While I like the concept that it allows another to get up when a player is injured, we’re not exactly there as a team, said coach Dallas Eakins. It was impossible to replace Troy. And now it’s the same with the loss of Henrique. We’re just going to do our best. It’s an opportunity for someone else. »
Terry ranks second on his team with 42 points (13 goals, 29 assists) in 51 games. Henrique follows him in third place with 33 points (19 goals, 14 assists).
” The return of [Terry] will bring some life to our roster,” Eakins said. He is able to score goals. What is unfortunate is that it is as if we had exchanged them for each other. »
Anaheim, which has lost its last six games (0-5-1), will also have to manage without John Klingberg. The defender was cut at the last minute before the duel once morest the Lightning because he suffers from a lower body injury. His case is assessed on a daily basis.
